« Je m’appelle Vanessa, j’ai 22 ans et je fais du foot depuis l’âge de 12 ans. J’habite aux alentours de Lyon. Je participe au Salon du Foot Indoor car mon Ecole Peyrefitte Sport est un partenaire du Salon. Depuis le début du salon, nous sommes deux filles à jouer. On peut dire que nous représentons le football au féminin. J’aurais aimé voir plus de mixité lors du salon, pour montrer que le football n’appartient pas seulement aux hommes, et aussi que la femme à tout à fait sa place dans ce beau sport collectif. Le regard des hommes est dévalorisant face à une femme qui peut faire autant qu’eux mais ils changent d’avis après un dribble ou deux. J’espère que l’année prochaine, il y aura plus de femmes représentant le football féminin au Salon du Foot Indoor.« , Vanessa, 22 ans.
« I am a soccer player in America. I play for Graceland university, Iowa. I study physical education to become a soccer coach in Japan, because they do not know how to have fun practicing soccer.
I have been in france for three weeks. A friend of my boyfriend gave me the chance to play for his team I PLAY. I really enjoy this event. Also, it is a very good experience to play soccer with french guys. I noticed that there is a difference between the japanese style to play soccer, american style and french style. The japanese style of soccer is very strict. I have to think about a lot of things but soccer, like the coach, the rules ( tradition of the club and the relation between the older and younger).
If I have a chance to play again, I would like to play in France because I feel free.
Nowadays, the women soccer is not popular. Contrary, the man soccer is popular that makes me frustrated. I hope, it will be universally more popular, because it should be this way.
